I'm a native of Biloxi on the beautiful Mississippi Gulf Coast, where coastal life has always been a part of me.  My passion for art began early in life.  I was inspired by watching my mother, who also was an oil painter.  She always had something on her easel, and I loved spending time by her side watching her paint.  This shared creative experience planted the seed for my own artistic journey. 

Beyond my love for art, my father also played a significant role in shaping my connection to the coastal environment.  He was an avid outdoorsman, and we spent time as a family together crabbing, casting nets for shrimp, and fishing.  Those moments deepened my bond with the natural beauty of the coast, which continues to influence my work today.  

When  my youngest child began kindergarten, I began painting every day and it has since become a source of joy and relaxation in my life.

My work is shaped by the vibrant colors and coastal landscapes of my Gulf Coast upbringing.  Each piece reflects my deep connection to the beaches and islands that inspire my work.  This connection gives every canvas a personal and unique touch.

My medium of choice is oils because of its smooth texture, and timeless elegance.  The versatility of oils allows me to capture the depth and richness of coastal life with vivid detail.
